An Illinois Lottery player is now a millionaire after recently purchasing a jackpot-winning Lotto ticket worth a cool $1 million in Lake County.

The ticket was purchased at a BP gas station at 39105 North Highway 41 in Wadsworth for the drawing on Monday, May 20.

The lucky player purchased the winning ticket matching all six numbers of 2-8-10-18-22-28 in the Lotto Million to score the $1 million jackpot prize, lottery officials confirmed.

The winner of the ticket has not yet come forward.

This is also a big win for the retailer who sold the winning ticket as the store will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize, lottery officials announced.

So far this year, over 2.5 million winning Lotto tickets have been sold, with total prizes amounting to more than $32.8 million for Illinois Lottery players.
