A Woodstock man accused of sexually assaulting a child over several years pleaded guilty in McHenry County Circuit Court Wednesday.

Matthew Lorr, 35, pleaded guilty to a single count of predatory criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, of a child under 13 and a single count of criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony, McHenry County court records show.

He was sentenced to 25 years in prison for predatory criminal sexual assault and ten years for criminal sexual assault, court records show.

The two sentences will be served consecutively, court records show. Multiple additional charges were dropped in exchange for the plea deal.

He is required to serve at least 85 percent of the the prison time, court records show.

Lorr received 594 days credit for time he already served in McHenry County jail.

Lorr, of the 11600 block of Country Club Road in unincorporated Woodstock, was initially charged October 6, 2022, with four counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony.

Lorr picked up additional counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse two weeks later, court records show.

A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court at the time of his arrest in October 2022 said Lorr committed multiple sex acts to a child under the age of 13 between January 2019 to September 2022.

The case was investigated by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Lorr was held in McHenry County Jail following his arrest in 2022.
