Three people were injured following a serious crash between a motorcycle and a minivan at the intersection of Route 176 and Dean Street in Woodstock.

Alex Vucha, Communication Specialist with the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District, said Woodstock and the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department were dispatched to the intersection at 2:25 p.m. Saturday for a report of a serious motorcycle crash.

Initial reports also indicated CPR was being performed on a downed motorcycle rider prior to firefighters arriving at the scene, Vucha said.

Firefighters arrived within 4 minutes and observed a serious two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and minivan, Vucha said.

He said crews confirmed a bystander had performed CPR on one of two unconscious riders on the pavement.
