No injuries were reported in a structure fire in a single-family home in South Barrington, officials said.

Firefighters from the Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District were called to the 0 to 100 block of South Meadow Court in South Barrington at 1:28 p.m. Friday, June 6.

Initial units on the scene to find the three-car attached garage with fire to the rear corner, authorities said.

Two vehicles were in the garage and 1 car was parked on the driveway.

The residents evacuated the home, officials said.

A survey of the home was performed and found the fire was partially extinguished before the fire department’s arrival.

First firefighters on the scene extinguished the remainder of the blaze, officials said.

Incident command reported fire loss stopped at 3:36 p.m., authorities said.

Fire Departments dispatched to assist the Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District with this incident included Hoffman Estates, Wauconda, Long Grove, and Inverness.
