Police say a juvenile will be charged in connection with numerous vehicle burglaries in the Wonder Lake area as they seek victims to come forward to retrieve their stolen property.

The Wonder Lake Police Department said they began an investigation on July 27 after locating a credit card on a juvenile that did not belong to them.

Officers made contact with the owner of the credit card and it was determined to have been taken during an unreported burglary of their vehicle.

Numerous items of suspected stolen property were recovered during the search.

Investigators were able to link the juvenile to approximately seven separate burglary to motor vehicles as well as several attempted burglaries.

The incidents occurred within the Village of Wonder Lake as well as the unincorporated areas of Wonder Lake.
