No injuries were reported after a minivan jumped the curb and crashed into the front of Chase Bank on the historic Woodstock Square Wednesday morning.
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District and Woodstock Police Department responded around 9:51 a.m. Wednesday to Chase Bank, 118 Cass Street in Woodstock, for a vehicle crash.
Fire crews arrived in minutes and found a minivan that had struck the building, which is located on the historic Woodstock Square.
The vehicle had jumped the curb and struck the front of the building, according to Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Communication Specialist Alex Vucha.
Two adult female occupants who were in the car were able to get out on their own.
Vucha said the two women did not require any medical attention. No one on the sidewalk or in the building was injured.
The building sustained minor cosmetic damage from the low-speed impact, Vucha said.
The Woodstock Police Department was investigating the cause of the crash. It is unclear if any citations were issued.
A request for comment from the police department was not immediately returned.
In May, a driver was injured after crashing their SUV into a storefront on the same block. In December, another vehicle also jumped the curb on the same block and struck the Berkshire Hathaway Starck Real Estate building.
