A woman was critically injured and flown to the hospital after a t-bone crash that left two others injured in Huntley Saturday morning, authorities said.

The Huntley Police Department and Huntley Fire Protection District responded around 10:50 a.m. Saturday to the area of Route 47 and Del Webb Boulevard for a vehicle crash with injuries.

Officers arrived and reported one person was unresponsive at the scene.

Fire crews arrived in three minutes to find two vehicles involved with moderate damage, according to Huntley Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Brian Harders.

Harders said the crash was a t-bone-style collision. Three ambulances, including one from Hampshire, were called to the scene.

Three adult victims were transported by ambulances to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Huntley.

A LifeNet medical helicopter was called and met one of the ambulances at the hospital’s helipad.

Harders said the unresponsive victim, an adult female, was transferred to the helicopter.

She suffered critical injuries while the two other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The helicopter flew the woman to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, which is a Level 1 trauma center, Harders said.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Huntley Police Department.
