A 65-year-old man was killed after being ejected from his car following a two-vehicle crash that left a second driver with serious injuries in Zion Tuesday evening.

The Zion Fire Department and Zion Police Department responded around 10:03 p.m. Tuesday to 9th Street and Green Bay Road for a vehicle crash with injuries.

Zion Police Lt. Derek Zaloudek said a two-vehicle crash occurred in the intersection.

A gray 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, driven by a 65-year-old man, was traveling westbound on 9th Street.

Zaloudek said the Chevrolet entered the intersection at Green Bay Road without yielding to oncoming traffic at the stop sign.

The Chevrolet collided with a white 2024 Cadillac XT4, driven by a 60-year-old man.

The Cadillac had been traveling southbound on Green Bay Road at the time.

Zaloudek said the 65-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
