Two Highland Park police officers responding to an emergency call crashed their squad cars into each other in Highland Park, authorities said.

The incident happened around 8:50 p.m. last Thursday at Central Avenue and Green Bay Road in Highland Park.

Bennett said no other vehicles were involved and the officers did not report any injuries.

Both police cars had to be towed from the scene. No citations were issued to either officer.
