Police say they are actively investigating after a 37-year-old woman vanished from Antioch nearly a month ago and her whereabouts are unknown.
The Antioch Police Department said Thursday they are seeking assistance in locating Megan Bos, 37, of Antioch.
Bos was last heard from by family members on February 17, police said.
She was reported missing to the Antioch Police Department earlier this week.
Antioch police detectives have pursued multiple leads and are coordinating with several law enforcement agencies in northeastern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin.
Police said her whereabouts remain unknown as of Thursday.
Bos’ family says she is known to frequent the Waukegan, Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee areas.
Bos is 5-foot-4 tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds, with dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and a birthmark below her left eye.
She also has tattoos on her right bicep, chest and right thigh.
“We are asking anyone with information to come forward to help Megan reunite with her family,” Antioch Police Chief Geoffrey Guttschow said.
“We ask anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call the CenCom Dispatch Center at 847-270-9111,” Guttschow said.
The Antioch Police Department said they will release updates on the investigation as it becomes available.
