A woman was transported to the hospital after she crashed into a tree and her car rolled over, leaving her trapped inside, in Crystal Lake Saturday afternoon.
The Crystal Lake Police Department and Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department responded around 4:28 p.m. Saturday to the 1600 block of Deerhaven Drive in Crystal Lake for a report of a vehicle crash with entrapment.
Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department Lt. Dan Williams said crews arrived to find a single-vehicle crash.
A small SUV had struck a tree and rolled over in the roadway, Williams said.
The driver and sole occupant of the car was trapped inside and required minor extrication.
Williams said paramedics transported the adult female to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial emergency radio traffic indicated the driver may have suffered a medical emergency that led to the crash.
Williams said he was unable to confirm what led to the crash.
The Crystal Lake Police Department was handling the investigation into the crash.
