Police are seeking the community’s help in identifying and locating a vehicle and a driver wanted in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in downtown Harvard.

The Harvard Police Department said Wednesday they are seeking the public’s assistance in a hit-and-run case.

The department released two surveillance images showing the wanted dark-colored SUV.

One of the photos included the driver seated in the car.

The incident occurred around 2:18 p.m. Monday at the intersection of West Front Street and North Ayer Street.

The SUV was traveling northbound on Ayer Street and made a left turn onto West Front Street.

The vehicle struck an unoccupied parked vehicle as it made the turn.

The vehicle fled the scene after the crash and continued westbound on West Front Street.
