A car that fled from police in Lake County led officers in Wisconsin on a high-speed pursuit that ended with the car rolling over multiple times, leaving five people hospitalized.

The Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin Police Department said a vehicle was wanted for fleeing from the Winthrop Harbor Police Department.

A Pleasant Prairie police officer on patrol spotted the car on April 11.

A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle but the driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued.

Dashcam video of the pursuit released Thursday showed the chase travel southbound on Springbrook Road from 39th Avenue at speeds of 70 mph.

The suspect vehicle drove into the opposite lanes of traffic as it passed through a roundabout at Springbrook Road and 104th Street.

The video showed the car cross over into the correct lane of travel and cut off a squad car, resulting in the two vehicles making contact and the squad performing a PIT maneuver.
