One person was injured and had to be extracted from their vehicle following a crash in Lakemoor Saturday morning, authorities said.
Battalion Chief Jason Daun of the Wauconda Fire Protection District said firefighters were called to the intersection of Route 120 and Sullivan Lake Road for a two-vehicle accident at 9:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
Upon arrival, Daun said they found two vehicles had been involved in a T-Bone crash, with one of the people trapped inside.
Daun said it took 23 minutes to extricate the person from the vehicle.
That person was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in stable condition.
Two other people involved in the crash were treated and released from the scene, Daun said.
Eastbound Route 120 was closed and westbound 120 was reduced to one lane while firefighters tended to the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lakemoor Police Department.
