No injuries were reported in a bedroom fire in Deerfield Saturday evening, authorities said.
Firefighters from the Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Protection District were called to the scene of the working house fire in the 1000 block of Broadmoor Place at 8:08 p.m., district officials said.
The fire was contained to a small bedroom and knocked down within minutes of arriving on the scene at 8:12 p.m., district officials said.
No residents, firefighters, or pets were injured in the fire, district officials said.
A damage estimate for the home is unknown at this time.
Firefighters and other resources were called in from Highland Park, Lincolnshire, Northbrook, Lake Forest, and Buffalo Grove.
The fire remains under investigation, district officials said.
