Illinois State Police are seeking the driver of a white Hyundai Kona involved in a hit-and-run crash on I-294 and Lake Cook Road.

Illinois State Police Public Information Officer Shannon Barrea said troopers responded to Interstate 294 at milepost 52.25 in Northbrook for a report of a two-vehicle, hit-and-run crash at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday.

Barrea said the white Hyundai Kona was spotted driving across multiple lanes while the black Kia was driving in the right lane on I-294.

The Kona suddenly lost control, Barrea said, striking the rear middle of the Kia with the front of the Hyundai.

Both vehicles subsequently struck the right concrete wall due to the collision, Barrea said.

The driver of the Hyundai jumped out of the car and ran from the scene on foot, Barrea said.

Barrea said no injuries were reported in the crash.
