Fire officials said one person was injured and had to be airlifted to a hospital after falling off a roof in Fox River Grove Saturday.
Fox River Grove Fire Protection District Lt. Nick Schaeffer said emergency personnel were called to the 700 block of Northwest Highway at 6:43 p.m. Saturday for an injured person.
He said the patient received a head injury after falling off a roof, Schaeffer said.
He said a LifeNet helicopter was called in to transport the victim to the hospital. He would not say what hospital the victim was transported to.
Schaeffer would not release additional details regarding the incident when contacted on Sunday.
The condition of the victim remains unknown at this time.
