No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle crash that caused one vehicle to roll over in Algonquin, police officials said.
Algonquin Police Sgt. Kory Koehler said the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Algonquin and Frank roads in Algonquin at 2:35 p.m. Thursday.
He said an early 2000s Pontiac Bonneville hit a Genesis SUV, causing the SUV to roll over.
He said no one was injured in the crash and everyone refused transport to a hospital at the scene.
The driver of the Bonneville was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and not wearing a seat belt, Koehler said.
The roadway was reduced to one lane in each direction for a short time while the accident was handled by emergency personnel, Koehler said.
The incident remains under investigation.
