One person is in custody and charged with shooting a gun at a victim during a domestic incident in Grayslake on Saturday, police officials said.
Grayslake Police officers responded to the 300 block of Quist Court for a report of a single gunshot at approximately 2:39 p.m. on Saturday, Grayslake Police said on their Facebook page.
Upon arrival, police determined that a domestic dispute had just occurred involving several subjects, police said.
Police said Tanea Landrum, 34, pulled out a .22 caliber pistol and fired one shot in the direction of a victim.
No injuries were reported because of this incident.
Landrum left the scene as a passenger in a vehicle, but that vehicle was quickly located in Mundelein and Landrum was taken into custody without incident.
Following the arrest and subsequent investigation, the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Landrum with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Assault from a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm without an Illinois Concealed Carry License, police said.
Landrum is due back in Lake County First Appearance court Sunday morning.
