Police have released video and photos as they search for several suspects who burglarized at least 15 businesses across Gurnee during the overnight hours on Wednesday morning.

The Gurnee Police Department said they are actively investigating a series of burglaries that occurred during the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of Riverside Drive just before 4 a.m. after multiple burglar alarms were triggered, according to Gurnee Police Department Public Information Officer Shawn Gaylor.

Officers arrived and found the front windows of several businesses had been shattered.

“As the investigation unfolded, it became clear that this was a coordinated effort affecting multiple locations,” Gaylor said.

15 businesses across Gurnee were identified as having been burglarized during the spree.
