The sheriff’s office says they are seeking the community’s help in locating a 30-year-old man who disappeared from Lake Barrington and has been missing for two weeks.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday they are asking for the public’s help in locating Andrew McAuliff, 30, of Lake Barrington.
He was last seen two weeks ago in the area of the 400 block of White Oak Lane in Lake Barrington.
McAuliff left his home on foot and has not been seen since, the sheriff’s office said.
McAuliff does not have his phone and left without any electronics.
He is described as being 5-foot-11, weighing 145 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
McAuliff was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, black shorts and gray gym shoes.
The sheriff’s office said they did not release information on his disappearance earlier because his family did not approve of it until Wednesday.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Christopher Covelli said McAuliff’s family is worried about his mental state.
