No injuries were reported after an elderly driver was attempting to pull out of a driveway and crashed into a neighboring home in Crystal Lake Thursday morning.

The Crystal Lake Police Department and Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department responded around 11:15 a.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Ruby May Lane in Crystal Lake for a vehicle crash with injuries.

Crystal Lake Deputy Police Chief Richard Neumann said officers arrived to find a crash involving a car and a building.

A preliminary investigation shows a sedan was reversing out of a private driveway of a residence.

The driver accidentally crashed the car into a residence across the street, Neumann said.

Crystal Lake Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and EMS Mark Menzel said the car sustained moderate rear-end damage.
