Police are seeking help in locating a missing 14-year-old boy who disappeared while reportedly attending a basketball practice at Libertyville High School Thursday evening.

The Libertyville Police Department said they are seeking help in locating 14-year-old Andrew Cvetanovski.

The police department received a report around 10 a.m. Friday that Cvetanovski had not returned home from an event at Libertyville High School, 708 West Park Avenue, on the evening of Thursday.

Cvetanovski was entered as a missing person and Libertyville police officers began an investigation.

The Libertyville Police Department said they do not suspect that foul play is involved in the case.

Cvetanovski was last seen leaving the high school on foot southbound on Dawes Avenue.

He was wearing a red, white and blue jacket, blue jeans and blue gym shoes and may be carrying a green gym bag.

The mother of Cvetanovski said her son is a freshman at the high school and did not come home from basketball practice.

The boy reportedly had no phone or credit cards on his person when he went missing, his mother said.

He is described as being 5-foot-9 tall with a green duffel bag and possibly blue baseball shoes.

The police department released photos of Cvetanovski, including a surveillance photo of what he was last seen wearing.

Police officials said Friday evening that the case remains under investigation and additional information will be provided when available.

UPDATE: Police announced Saturday the teen has been located and reunited with his family.
