A criminal complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court alleges Ales burglarized O’Grady’s Barber Shop, 91 North Williams Street in Crystal Lake, on January 9.

Ales forced entry into the business around 2:46 a.m. with the intent to commit a theft, the complaint said.

The complaint said Ales stole various hair clippers, which were valued at over $500, from the barber shop that belonged to the owner.

Ales also damaged a ComEd power box on the exterior of O’Grady’s Barber Shop during the incident, the complaint said.
