A Huntley man accused of performing lewd sex acts on himself in front of an open garage door has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of public indecency.
Robert Lacey, 62, pleaded guilty to a Class A misdemeanor charge of public indecency during a plea deal approved Friday, court records show.
As part of the plea deal, Lacey was sentenced to court supervision and is required to undergo a sex offender evaluation within 90 days.
Lacey was also ordered to pay a fine of $150, court documents show.
According to the complaint filed in McHenry County Circuit Court, Lacey knowingly performed an act of lewd exposure of the body at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 2.
The complaint reads that Lacey was fully nude and performing a lewd sex act on himself while his garage door was open in an area where it would be reasonable to expect it could be viewed by others.
Lacey is expected back in court on May 8.
Court records show Lacey does not have to appear in court if he completes his sex offender evaluation and pays his fine before his next court date.
