No injuries have been reported following a large fire that damaged two homes in Wonder Lake on Sunday, authorities said.

Chief Matt Yegge of the Wonder Lake Fire Protection District said firefighters were called to the 8700 block of Ramble Road at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a structure fire.

Fire crews arrived on scene in under three minutes and found a single-family home on fire, Yegge said.

He added the fire was also beginning to spread to a neighboring structure, Yegge said.

Firefighters immediately initiated both fire suppression and search operations, he said.

Due to multiple structures involved, a MABAS Box Alarm was requested to bring additional fire and EMS resources to the scene.

Mutual aid companies assisted with firefighting, water supply, and scene management, Yegge said.
